Support to EU Film Festivals

Support EU filmfestivals

Support to EU Film Festivals is a project initiated by the European Union and implemented by Cineuropa.org, Institut français and Goethe-Institut. The goal is to support the creation and enhance the quality of EU Film Festivals organised by the delegations of the European Union worldwide. After a successful first phase implemented from 2019 to 2022, the European Commission started a new phase in January 2023. The second phase will run for 2 years, with a possibility of an extension of 2 additional years.

The consortium proposes a number of services available to all European
delegations:

Repository of European films selected by a professional jury that delegation can use for free on demand Secure their worldwide non-commercial rights and produce and distribute DCPs and Blu-rays to all the delegations Assistance to the organisation of side events (workshops, master classes, film education, coproduction markets, networking meetings…) Several delegations will receive additional and direct support by hiring curators, researching local sponsorships and partnerships, renting facilities… Online and offline trainings with different modules on film festival management

In the first phase, the consortium created a common visual and graphics available to all delegations as well as a do-it-yourself guide
