Christoph Bieber, born in 1970, is a specialist in Political Science and, in May of 2011, became a professor at the Welker Foundation in Ethics in Political and Social Administration, at NRW School of Governance of the University of Duisbur-Essen. His research and publication deal with ethics and political responsibility, transparency and public communications, as well as democracy and new media. Since 2000, he has been one of the heads of politik-digital e.V., the association that sponsors the homonymous online platform and, since 2013, has been a member of the German public tv and radio council WDR.
He holds a scholarship from the Robert Bosch Foundation.
