Womanhood brings to the stage a group of theatre-loving amateurs, following a series of workshops with Marios Ioannou. Together, they put a magnifying glass on some of the parts that comprise women's immense worlds. Through improvisation and texts from modern and classical theatre, arise the vast, the sweet, the bitter, the anarchist, the sensitive, the wild and tough, but, at its root, the always compassionate character of women.
The workshops, that took place in January and February 2019 at the premises of the Goethe-Institut Nicosia, aimed in teaching some acting techniques to the participants, while celebrating at the same time the vast world of the female psyche through a final performance on International Women's Day – 8th March 2019.
