What's the difference between opening hours and service hours?

Our opening hours have changed! To allow our readers to use the Library outside service hours our Library doors are now open for longer every day.

During these hours you can work, study and read in the Library, use our laptops and meet friends. Members can borrow and return materials using the RFID Self Check Kiosk. Please note, at certain times parts of the library may not be accessible.
If you want to join as a Library member, if you need information about the collection or about Germany please visit during service hours.
