German Language Day

Join us for German Language Day and discover the richness of the German language and the diverse cultures of German-speaking countries – all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

This year’s theme, “From Namsan to the Alps,” invites you on a cultural journey filled with exciting activities, all centered around the idea of travel.

Explore what the German-speaking world has to offer through:

• Introductory German lessons for beginners and advanced learners
• Study abroad consultations for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Talk with travel writers
• A Samulnori performance by the PASCH school “Ewha-MOS”
• A book flea market
• Travel-themed film screenings
• Quizzes and games all about travel
• A raffle with great prizes – including a language course scholarship in Germany

One of the day’s highlights is a panel discussion with representatives from the embassies of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, offering fascinating insights into the cultural and linguistic diversity of their countries.

For even more fun, enjoy board games, a photo booth, and food stalls featuring traditional treats from the German-speaking world.

Parking is limited, so driving is not recommended. If you must drive, please use the parking lots at nearby Namsan Library or Yongsan Library. For public transportation, buses 402 and 405 provide convenient access.
