Introduction to ‘In Aestivation’

A Series of Presentations as Part of the Towards Empathy Project

The Towards Empathy project, developed over an extended period in collaboration with partner organisations and individual friends and contributors from different fields, has spent two years exploring and discussing empathy from a range of perspectives.

Throughout the process, ten groups of more than 100 participants have developed different project ideas based on how they understand empathy and what they would like to discuss, present, or explore through artistic and other forms of expression.

The resulting projects will be presented as part of ‘In Aestivation’, a series of presentations beginning in October 2026.
