Venue for hire
The auditorium is 139 square meters and can host up to 180 persons. The 49 square meter foyer is also included in this price and is ideal for serving refreshments during your event. Please note that social distancing and hygiene measures apply due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our auditorium has tables and chairs, standing tables, a portable stage, a podium, flip charts, a grand piano, a simultaneous translation system, microphones and a video-audio system.

PROMOTION OF MUSIC RESIDENCIES IN GERMANY
This grant is to enable performing artists working in the field of music from developing and transition countries to prepare new international programmes and productions with partners in Germany. The object of the programme is to promote international artistic collaboration and intensive cultural exchange on a partnership basis.
German Language Courses
German Language Classes in October
Start learning the German language at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar. Our German language courses are international recognized. We use a system based on six levels, so it is easy to get started and easy to track your progress. We offer German language courses both online and in-person starting this October. Goethe-Zertifikat Exams in October
If you require documentation of your German Language skills, the Goethe-Institut can supply you with certificates to verify your German language proficiency. Goethe-Institut Myanmar is offering Goethe-Zertifikat exams in October! Registration is opened from 2.10.2022 - 16.10.2022. Please check our schedule and register - email@example.com!
READ STORIES WITH TIPTOI PEN!
Do you know that in addition to books, CDs/DVDs, magazines and board games, our library users can borrow a tiptoi book with pen at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar Library? With the interactive tiptoi book, you can learn German, as well as delve into other interesting topics with the help of song, voice and play.
Children will also enjoy learning through the fun stories and songs in these books! Come and check them out in our library!

“BOARD GAME FRIDAY!”
Would you like to practice your German by playing fun German board games?
The Goethe-Institut Myanmar's language department and the library are now organizing a program called “Board Game Friday” for our students. Come and learn and practice German with a teacher or just have fun with your friends.
This program is held once a month at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar library. Only six people can join at a time, so register in person at the lending desk or via email - firstname.lastname@example.org.
For registration please provide your name, contact number and your German proficiency level.
