Photo Exhibition

The Boy With Many Jobs

The Goethe-Institut and the International Labour Organization invite you to a photo exhibition organized to commemorate the World Day Against Child Labour (WDACL) from June 13 to June 17 at Goethe-Institut Myanmar's auditorium

The exhibition presents the story of an 11-year-old boy who, at a young age, works to support his family. From fishing to brick making, he is resourceful to make ends meet. But how about his childhood dream? The exhibition highlights the need to protect Myanmar children now more than ever. Conflicts, crises, and the COVID-19 pandemic have plunged more families into poverty – and forced more children into child labour and potentially its worst forms. Actions to counter it start with awareness.
