International Women's Day 2025

Goethe-Institut Myanmar consistently recognizes and promotes the significant role, voice, and contributions of women across its cultural programs, workshops, discussions, and various initiatives.
 
In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, we will once again host a series of events to celebrate the occasion. This year, our commemoration will extend throughout March, featuring a diverse program over the course of the next three weeks, organized in collaboration with esteemed partner organizations and local stakeholders.

Open Call: Academy of Care (AoC) Cohort 4

The Academy of Care (AoC) accepting applications for its cohort 4, train-to-facilitate on-site program from 28 April – 13 July 2025, focusing on creative therapy intervention techniques with a trauma-informed care approach. Participants will receive training from international and local experts in mental health, art, music, and drama therapy, gaining both theoretical and practical skills to support individuals and communities in Myanmar.

AoC Cohort 4 is conducted in collaboration with FAHI India, the Research Institute of Dramatherapy Sri Lanka, and Maitri Music Therapy Nepal.

German Language Courses

Start learning the German language systematically at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar! Our German language courses are based on the six levels defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Our courses are thereby internationally recognized and comparable. Goethe-Institut Myanmar is offering online and in-person German language courses in March. Registration is open from 03.03.2025 to 14.03.2025. On Boardgame Day in March, we will arrange Schnitzeljagd Deutsch, a fun and educational board game where players go on a scavenger hunt to learn German. Players solve clues and complete tasks to advance on the board, making learning German an exciting adventure.
