Pride Month 2025

Acknowledging Pride Month, which takes place annually in June, Goethe-Institut Myanmar will organize a series of programs in collaboration with local and international organizations. Goethe-Institut remains committed to recognizing and supporting the voices and participation of individuals from LGBTQIA+ communities in Myanmar and globally, across diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Starting in June 2025, Goethe-Institut Myanmar also plans to continue working with the LGBTQIA+ community through monthly activities throughout the year.

Details of these programs will be announced through the official social media channels of Goethe-Institut Myanmar. We invite you to stay informed through these platforms.

Digitise Your Memories!

Join us on upcoming Saturday at the Goethe-Institut, where the Myanmar Photo Archive team will help you professionally digitise your old photographs.

Bring your materials, and we’ll make sure your memories are preserved for generations to come! 
 
We will provide you with digital files of the materials on the spot. This is initiative part of an ongoing collaboration between the Goethe-Institut and the Myanmar Photo Archive to preserve local photographic history.

Please be informed that the registration office's opening hours will be changed to the new schedule starting 15 May 2025.

Registration Office's New Opening Hours:
  • Monday (11:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (11:00 am – 4:00 pm)
(Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.)
