To mark World Oceans Day on June 8, 2025, the Our Ocean, Our Life showcase, jointly organized by the Myanmar Ocean Project and Goethe-Institut Myanmar, will be presented.

Join us for a transformative afternoon where creativity meets care.

Co-produced by the Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship, Goethe-Institut Myanmar, and the Academy of Care, the Arts & Healing Exchange brings together artists, health professionals, and therapists to explore how the arts can enhance health and well-being.

The Goethe-Institut Myanmar is pleased to announce an open call for artists from diverse backgrounds to participate in a multi-disciplinary visual art project, culminating in an exhibition in December 2025.

Acknowledging Pride Month, which takes place annually in June, Goethe-Institut Myanmar will organize a series of programs in collaboration with local and international organizations. Goethe-Institut remains committed to recognizing and supporting the voices and participation of individuals from LGBTQIA+ communities in Myanmar and globally, across diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Starting in June 2025, Goethe-Institut Myanmar also plans to continue working with the LGBTQIA+ community through monthly activities throughout the year.

Bring your materials, and we’ll make sure your memories are preserved for generations to come! 
 
We will provide you with digital files of the materials on the spot. This is initiative part of an ongoing collaboration between the Goethe-Institut and the Myanmar Photo Archive to preserve local photographic history.
