Arts and Healing Exchange: Event Recap

The Arts and Healing Exchange took place on June 14 at Goethe-Institut Myanmar, bringing together a vibrant mix of artists, therapists, educators, and mental health professionals, united by a shared belief: Art has the power to heal. Organized by the Global South Arts and Health Initiative in partnership with Goethe-Institut Myanmar, the event offered hands-on workshop, panel discussion, and space for open sharing. Participants explored how creative expression can ease stress, reconnect us with our emotions, and build stronger connections with others. Many shared personal reflections of how making art helped them process difficult experiences or simply feel more grounded. This event marked a meaningful starting point in connecting art more deeply with healing.
