Exhibition

Within & Beyond: Reimagining Art across Distances

The exhibition of the program Within & Beyond: Reimagining Art across Distances will take place from 12 to 18 December at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar. The program aims to present artworks that reflect on the phrase “distance and disconnection,” exploring not only its impact—forms of separation, transformation, and interruption— but also the connections, interactions, understandings, and feelings that emerge across distances, as well as the similarities and differences shaped by them.

The exhibition will feature eight Myanmar artists based in countries including Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, France, the Czech Republic, and Sweden, along with three Myanmar curators. Further details about the exhibition program will be shared on the Goethe-Institut Myanmar’s online platforms.
