Embassies and cultural centres across Yangon will open their doors for art, music, and cultural exchange in the month of May.

Goethe-Institut Myanmar will also take part in Cultural Connections 2.0 with the several public programs on 23 May. Further details will be announced on our social media channels.

German Courses Starting in Term 4

In June, the German courses at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar will begin for Term 4.
 
Start learning the German language systematically at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar! Our German language courses are based on the six levels defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Our courses are thereby internationally recognized and comparable. You can now register for our german courses online anytime, anywhere. For any inquiries, please get in touch with us via info.language.mmr@goethe.de.

Exam Dates in June

The exam dates for A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels in June have now been finalized and are available for viewing.

Registration will open on May 18th and 19th. As the number of participants is limited, we recommend registering early once the registration becomes available.

Further information about the registration process will be provided in due course.

Sometimes the smallest handmade gifts carry the biggest love!

Join us at the library for a fun and meaningful craft session for children aged 7 to 12, where they create their own pop-up Mother’s Day cards. Using simple materials and lots of creativity, each child will design a card that opens with a delightful surprise inside.

We warmly invite you to let your child express their love in a creative way. Let’s create something special from the heart!

We invite you to join the Deutsch-Meisterschaft at our library on 22 May 2026!

This engaging quiz game tests your general knowledge as well as your German language skills. Questions cover history, geography, society, idioms, the environment and leisure. Suitable for learners at A2–B1 level, the game supports vocabulary development and reinforces key language structures.
