Anna Böhm
(born 1975 in East Berlin), children's author
Anna Böhm worked as a waitress and director's assistant at the Berlin Ensemble, before studying gender studies and philosophy and later screenwriting at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. She wrote radio plays for children for Deutschlandradio Kultur, including Haudrauf und Mariechen, and Karim und Kater im Zug. Anna Böhm received the children's radio play prize from the City of Karlsruhe in 2015, and the MDR Rundfunk children's radio play prize in 2016. The first book in the series Emmi und Einschwein (Emmi and the Unipig) was published in 2018 under the title Einhorn kann jeder! (Anyone can be a unicorn!). Anna Böhm lives in Berlin.
