Rán Flygenring
(born 1987 in Norway), illustrator
Rán Flygenring grew up in Iceland. She studied at Iceland Academy of the Arts with study residencies in Oslo and Berlin. Since graduating she has worked as a freelance illustrator, illustrating children's books such as those written by German author Finn-Ole Heinrich. Their collaboration started with the children's book Frerk, du Zwerg! (Frerk the Dwarf; 2011), for which they both received the German Children's Literature Prize in 2012.
