Alina Herbig
(born 1984 in Lübeck), author
Alina Herbing studied German and history in Greifswald, contemporary German literature in Berlin, and literary and creative writing as well as cultural journalism in Hildesheim. Her debut novel Niemand ist bei den Kälbern (No One's with the Calves) was published in 2017, received the Friedrich Hölderlin Endowment of the City of Bad Homburg and was nominated for the aspekte Literature Prize. Before that she published a number of short stories in magazines and anthologies. Alina Herbing teaches literary writing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
