The Goethe-Institut in Pakistan offers weekly and monthly exam dates for German examinations in the cities of Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Here you will find information on when you can take a German exam, our exam locations and dates, and registration information. For questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Exam Dates 2026

You will find our exam dates here, as well as the day and time when registrations open.

Documents required on the exam day:

For Pakistani Nationals:
1. Original Passport
2. Printed PTN slip (Booking Confirmatoin)
3. Original CNIC

For Afghan Nationals:
1. Original Passport
2. Printed PTN slip (Booking Confirmatoin)
3. Original Tazkara (with English translation)

In case your passport is currently processed at an official site, such as the German consulate for instance, please bring the confirmation letter from the consulate / office to our registration office.

Examination results

You can now find your German exam results from the Goethe-Institut Pakistan in our online portal “My Goethe.de”. Exam results are usually published 20working days (4weeks) after you have given the exam.
