Artist and filmmaker working with experimental documentary moving-image formats, based in Berlin. Her research-driven practice addresses the translatability of socio-political issues into resistant aesthetics and counter-narratives, focusing especially on the politics of the (film) voice. Her work has been shown internationally at venues and festivals such as Whitechapel Gallery (London), Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), CAC (Quito), Off Biennale Cairo, International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, and BFI London. Since 2014, she has been teaching at various art academies.
