Plot:
Johannes Maria Schmit's film is based on a screenplay by Tucké Royale, who also takes on the lead role. Royale is a well-known artist in the German queer scene, of which NEUBAU presents an excerpt:
The movie follows the trans man Markus during his laid-back everyday life in the Uckermark – jobbing at an ostrich farm, jogging, and thinking about sex. His grandmothers Sabine and Alma are also part of his life. Out of love (and not due to a sense of duty), Sabine and Markus take care of Alma, who suffers from dementia. Nevertheless, Markus is lonely.
