A beginner’s guide for making art and comics

"Making Art" describes the first part of the two-part series by Ray Whitcher and Bill Masuku. Not only are they sharing their journey of producing comics but they delve deeper into the meaning behind comics, their functionality, and how to properly initiate them. They allow you to take part in the story compositing, scriptwriting process and instruct on the importance of the numerous diverse roles involved in the conception of a comic. Also, the refinement through contrasts, beats per page, and the border to overwhelming is made clear. Ultimately, valuable tips are provided to the viewer, such as the analysis of TV shows, films, and comics. Precisely these conscious applications of certain angles and illustrations can be understood and applied in one's comic.
