The comic artist Adrien Folly-Notsron, alias KanAd, specializes in yet another category: historical comics. His goal is to transform a historical figure into an outstanding comic character. For KanAd, the most important thing is accurate research and documentation of the characters. In the video, he explains the various methods and origins of his comics from books and museums, as well as through historians and the Internet. He also discusses the advantages and disadvantags of these sources. He emphasizes the importance of accurate background and precise data for creating a figure. He gives solutions in case there is no visual material available for a historical figure.
