Cav’ Platform Resilience Small Grants 2022

In support of the burgeoning creative industry, the Cav’ Platform, a project of the Goethe-Institut in partnership with the Gauteng Creative Industries Public Sector Steering Committee distributed 12 Small Grants in 2021 – 2022. These grant provided much need financial support to creative businesses with a social aspect and non-profit organizations with involvement in: animation gaming, performing arts, film, music, craft, photography and visual art.

Animation Transformation Dialogues

For far too long, African stories have been viewed through a European lens that appeals to and caters for European, North American and Asian audiences. AnimationSA and the Goethe-Institut’s Cav’ Platform’s Transformation Dialogues will give creatives an opportunity to view and express African creative ambition through their own lens.
