KINO! Film Salon: The Baader Meinhof Complex
01/16/2022, 2:00pm EST
KINO! Film Salon is a monthly online film club to discuss German film.
How it works: Each month we choose a German film or series currently available to stream, watch it independently, and come together for a hosted conversation with other fans of German film.
We’re starting the new year with a conversation about The Baader Meinhof Complex, a 2008 film by Uli Edel, which is available to stream in the U.S. on platforms including Prime Video and Youtube.
Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof, and Gudrun Ensslin lead the radicalized children of the Nazi generation in a violent war against what they perceive as the new face of fascism: American imperialism supported by a German establishment deeply embedded in the Nazi past.
Hosted by Sydney Levine
