Cally Yu Yeuk Mui is a Hong Kong-based writer, playwright, community artist, and teaching artist. With extensive experience in media and the arts, she has published poetry, theater scripts, short stories, and art critiques in newspapers, magazines, and academic journals.

Her theater production Ink Maze won the 2018 Yearly Playwright Award from the International Association of Theatre Critics (HK). In 2014, she founded Grey and Green Ping Pong, a group advocating for creative ageing. Since 2020, she has collaborated with professional dance groups to promote creative dance and dance education among older adults across diverse communities. She currently teaches part-time at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and HKUSPACE.

Out of Delivery: Emotional Migration in Hong Kong is a six-week artist research workshop and culminating exhibition that brings together eight Hong Kong-based artists from diverse disciplines to explore themes of loneliness, self-imposed isolation, and inner emigration – set against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s complex and shifting socio-cultural landscape.
