Kim Man-Kwon is a distinguished political philosopher and academic, currently a professor at Yonsei and Kyung Hee University.

He is a member of the Advisory Committee on Legislative Issues for Reducing Socioeconomic Inequality and Ensuring Social Rights for Vulnerable Groups.

Additionally, he serves as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Social Rights at the National Human Rights Commission under the South Korean National Assembly.

During his lecture and panel discussion “Solitude: Loneliness and Freedom” in March 2025, he discussed how digital society can intensify loneliness among young people and how resulting emotions, such as anger, may pose a threat to democracy.
