Wong Ka Ying is a Hong Kong-based artist, curator, and writer whose work focuses on social justice and the representation of marginalized voices. She holds a BFA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, an M.Phil. in Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Cultural Studies.

Her work explores themes of gender equality, queer identity, disability rights, and labor conditions, using art as a tool for advocacy and inclusivity. As a curator, she fosters cross-community dialogue, curating projects such as OUT OF DELIVERY at the Goethe-Institut Hong Kong and organizing a fundraiser for Bethune House Hong Kong. Her work has been featured at institutions like M+, Tai Kwun Contemporary, and Para Site.

Out of Delivery: Emotional Migration in Hong Kong is a six-week artist research workshop and culminating exhibition that brings together eight Hong Kong-based artists from diverse disciplines to explore themes of loneliness, self-imposed isolation, and inner emigration – set against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s complex and shifting socio-cultural landscape.
