WM Total!
The format of WM Total! is just like our regular competition: watch soccer, listen to German, answer quiz questions, and predict match results — only this time, everything focuses on the World Cup.
WM Total! runs alongside the 2026 FIFA World Cup from June 11 to July 19, 2026, and follows the tournament in four compact rounds. Since the World Cup takes place during summer break, WM Total! is also open to individual students Registration closes on June 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Participants will be randomly assigned to one of four groups:
Group 1: Canada
Group 2: USA
Group 3: Germany
Group 4: Mexico
The groups are inspired by the host countries of the 2026 FIFA World Cup + Germany.

Watch short highlight videos from World Cup matches and answer questions. Focus: listening comprehension, vocabulary, and understanding the game.
3 general soccer/World Cup questions
research questions about teams, players, host countries, and soccer knowledge.
Prediction game
Predict the results of upcoming World Cup matches.
