The Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN) is a platform aiming to increase the mobility of artistic productions throughout Cameroon. Launched in 2022 as a pilot project by eight Cameroonian and European stakeholders, CCN has the ambition and mission to establish a strong Cameroonian network for artists and cultural operators, to tour artistic productions and to provide a capacity building program for the associated cultural infrastructure.

In 2022, CNN has organized 40 events by touring of 10 artistic productions of various disciplines (dance, theater, visual arts, music, slam) in 9 different cities all over Cameroon. These high quality productions offer much needed alternative visions and impulses to the civil society in Cameroon. The pilot phase was supported by the fund “European Spaces of Culture” by EUNIC.

The CCN is continuing in 2023 to be integrated as a sustainable part of the creative industry environment in Cameroon. For 2023, an open call for artistic projects was launched. 10 artistic productions were selected by a multidisciplinary jury on March, 31st. Le CCN support these 10 artistic productions in their respective touring of 5 dates, 50 dates in total, in the associated cultural spaces in 9 different Cameroonian cities.
