Adjani Arumpac

Adjani Arumpac graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Audio Visual Communications from the University of the Philippines. Her thesis, Walai (2006), is a documentary film on Muslim women in Southern Philippines. Her latest film, War is A Tender Thing (2013), the second part of a Mindanao documentary trilogy, retells the tale of the Mindanao Wars through her family history.

She also volunteers her production training background for active social-oriented groups. Her documentary film Nanay Mameng (2013) tells the life of a beloved octogenarian Filipina activist, Carmen Deunida, who has devoted half of her life helping the Philippine urban poor.
