CLOSED ON FRIDAY
In remembrance of fellow Kenyans who have lost their lives due to the ongoing floods, the Goethe-Institut Nairobi will remain closed on Friday, 10th May. We mourn the lives of over 200 people and deeply empathize with individuals who are displaced, lost loved ones or have suffered injuries as a result of the flash floods.
Since the Kenya Meteorological Department in its daily weather forecast continues to predict moderate to heavy rainfall in most parts of the country, please view safety tips communicated by the Kenya Red Cross on THIS LINK.
PLEASE NOTE, however, that the Industry Talks event slated for 5:00 pm tomorrow will still take place. Normal operations of the Goethe-Institut will resume on Monday, 13th May.
