"Claus Goedicke exhibits his work in the form of wallpaper, departing from what has become the habitual presentation of the photographic print as a framed object. In his digital compositions, Goedicke arranges details of the human body into ornamentation that acts like an oscillating curtain in front of another picture plane with different photographs. The abstraction and the pattern’s arrangement at once disrupt and sensitize one’s contemplation of the photographs, which cite various types of images and play off against each other."
