Master of German as a Foreign Language (DaF)

Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok and the Goethe-Institut have been working together for several years to benefit from each other's expertise on the German and Thai education systems. Joint research is conducted on areas of interest to the work of both institutions. Another pillar of the cooperation relates to the qualification of teachers in the field of education and training. Together, we would like to promote exchange in general and offer teachers further development opportunities with specialized training courses in particular.

Cooperation within the framework of the Master of German as a Foreign Language

Since 2015, Ramkhamhaeng University, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Goethe-Institut have been cooperating within the framework of the Master's program in German as a Foreign Language (DaF), which is offered at Ramkhamhaeng University. With this offer, we would like to enable German teachers in Thailand to have a scientific-cultural exchange with Germany, to ensure the quality of their education and to make it more international.

The Goethe-Institut Thailand supports students of the master´s programme in German as a Foreign Language and offers teaching observations in its standard courses within the scope of its possibilities. Students of this programme can also apply for a scholarship of the Goethe-Institut Thailand to help finance their tuition fees.
