The Cultural Institutes of The Federal Republic of Germany and Republic of France extend their presence on the grounds of the Alliance Francaise in Karachi.
This opens a new chapter of cooperation between Germany, France and Pakistan to benefit educational, cultural and people-to-people exchanges.
After two years of diligent planning, the first steps in the realisation of a sustainable and user-friendly German extension inside the well-known Alliance-Francaise Karachi compound has been taken, all in the spirit of the 1963 Elysee Treaty between France and Germany.

The Director of the Goethe-Institut Mr. Andreas Schiekofer and the Director of the Alliance Francaise Mr. Emmanuel Beurec say in a common statement: “The Goethe-Institut and the Alliance Francaise work hand in hand to realize this milestone of friendship and goodwill in Pakistan”
