2020 was a huge challenge in every aspect on all levels. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to hold events in person as usual and to meet personally. Nevertheless, the projects of the "Ta'ziz partnership" succeeded in finding solutions for this uncertain and new situation through the possibilities of digital progress and innovations. Many events have been rescheduled to online events.
The fact that online events are independent of location has the advantage that larger target groups can be reached and participants can network more easily in the region. Although the possibilities of online events are almost endless, there can occur a lack of personal closeness and interaction for the participants.
In order to make these events more lively, active and personal, the “Toolkit for interactive evaluation methods” created in 2019 was expanded into a “Toolkit for interactive evaluation methods in digital settings”. This new digital toolkit helps project managers to evaluate online and hybrid events, workshops or trainings digitally and creatively. The methods presented in the toolkit can be combined with each other and with classical questionnaires. When using questionnaires in evaluations, critical comments and explanations are often neglected. This is where interactive evaluation methods follow. Conversations, graphic processing, etc. help to understand assessments in a variety of ways. Qualitative, creative methods provide differentiated conclusions about individual opinions and experiences. The toolkit also provides insights into software and apps that support digital evaluation implementation.
