Ashram 4 Seasons Educational Programme – Autumn Session 2025

Ashram Education in collaboration with Goethe-Institut launched the first phase of a year-long cross-cultural educational programme in Amman. The initiative brings together regional and international professionals to lead hands-on workshops in music production, live performance, stage design, and artistic development.

About the project:

The Ashram 4 Seasons Educational Programme is designed as a platform for knowledge sharing, artistic empowerment, and cross-cultural collaboration. It aims to strengthen connections between creative communities in Jordan and Germany while providing participants with practical skills and international exposure.
The Autumn Session pilot focused on rhythm, sound, and personal expression. Through an immersive and practice-based approach, participants explored the relationship between ancestral percussive traditions and contemporary electronic music.

  • To foster cross-cultural exchange between artists in Jordan and Germany
  • To equip participants with practical skills in music production and live performance
  • To support artistic development and personal expression
  • To build sustainable networks between local and international creative communities
  • To provide visibility opportunities for emerging artists

Timeline:

5–9 October 2025

Target group:

Emerging and mid-level artists based in Jordan, particularly those interested in music production, live performance, and experimental or cross-cultural artistic practices.

Process / Schedule:

  • Open call for applications and participant selection
  • Intensive 5-day workshop programme
  • Hands-on training sessions led by international and regional professionals
  • Collaborative development of original musical works
  • Mentorship and professional feedback throughout the process
  • Final public presentationshowcasingparticipants’ work

Participants:

  • 10 artists selected through an open call

  • Approximately 70 attendees at the final public presentation
