Sustainability

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle– Reflect

At the Goethe-Institut Jordan, sustainability is part of how we approach our work as a cultural institution and how we manage shared resources.

Under the guiding principle “Reduce, Reuse,Recycle– Reflect”,we are working throughout 2026 to reduce resource consumption and improve how materials, energy, and waste are handled across the institute. Our focus is on realistic routines, mobile solutions, and approaches that can be sustained over time.

What this includes
Our sustainability work focuses on everyday practices, including:

  • Reducing unnecessary consumption and waste
  • Reusing materials and resources where possible
  • Improving waste separation and recycling practices
  • Being more conscious about how resources are used in courses, events, and daily operations
Shared responsibility
As an institute that works with many partners, participants, and visitors, we see sustainability as a shared responsibility. Everyday choices and collective awareness contribute to making these efforts meaningful and effective.
