Misleading: Providing incorrect or deceptive information that may cause someone to form an inaccurate understanding or belief.
Scams: Fraudulent schemes designed to deceive individuals and obtain money or personal information.
Information literacy: The ability to recognize when information is needed and to locate, evaluate, and use that information effectively.
Verify: To confirm the accuracy or truth of something through investigation or evidence.
Misinformation: False or misleading information spread without intent to deceive.

Ever seen the pink vests in Taiwan’s parks, mountain trails or markets? The vests belong to the Fake News Cleaner, a grassroots movement run by 160 volunteers. They’re on a mission to teach citizens how to spot misinformation and scams. In this episode, you'll learn how they help older people protect themselves from online fraud!
