New Exhibition in our Gallery Spaces Interlinked

With “Interlinked,” the Goethe-Institut Tokyo presents a group exhibition of contemporary media art in the institute’s gallery spaces from September 18 onward. Bringing together works by artists Rintaro Fuse, Theresa Reiwer, Sebastian Schmieg, and Rosa Wernecke, the exhibition explores how digital platforms, algorithmic systems, and artificial intelligence are increasingly shaping our everyday lives. Join us in celebrating the opening of the exhibition at the opening event on Saturday, September 19.

Visit us

In Japan, we are represented in Tokyo and Kyoto. The Goethe-Institut Tokyo was opened in 1962, followed by the location in Kyoto in 1963. The artist residency Villa Kamogawa has been in existence since 2011.
