Film Screening and Musical Performances
In the ground floor hall, the German documentary film "Rhythm is it!" by Thomas Grube and Enrique Sánchez Lansch will be shown with Japanese subtitles. In the old bus depot in the industrial port, 250 Berlin children and teenagers from 25 nations dance to Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring," choreographed by Royston Maldoom and accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic under Sir Simon Rattle. An emotional journey into new worlds and hidden facets of their personalities. In the afternoon, talented course participants will present musical contributions of classical music in the same venue. With nine performances and a diverse lineup of different instruments, the participants will show their passion for German music and take you on a musical journey.
