Podcasts have become an integral part of the media landscape, particularly among young people. In an all-day workshop, the Goethe-Institut, in cooperation with DW Akademie, will offer a practical introduction to the medium and its possibilities, covering everything from idea development to audio production and reflection on one's own media use.

In recent years, podcasts have developed rapidly in Europe and have become an integral part of the media landscape, particularly among young people.

Our one-day workshop provides a practical introduction to podcasting and the fundamentals of audio production. Participants will explore the diverse possibilities of the format and learn how to create and communicate their own content, while also reflecting on their own media use.

We will cover:
  • What exactly are podcasts? What potential do they have, and how do they work?
  • How can audio be used to tell stories?
  • How do you record and edit sound?
This event is being organised in cooperation with DW Akademie.
