European Day of Languages in Hiroo Sampo Do-ri 2025

September 26 is the European Day of Languages – a day established by the Council of Europe in 2001 to celebrate Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity. It also aims to highlight how exciting and important learning languages can be.

On Sunday, September 28, Hiroo Shopping Street will transform into a colorful pedestrian zone. Fourteen European countries will be represented with entertaining booths featuring mini language lessons, hands-on cultural experiences, and a quiz rally with attractive prizes.

The Goethe-Institut Tokyo will also be there, offering a mini-German lesson for curious visitors.
