Naren Bedide is a writer, translator, and poet in English and Telugu. He is one of the founder editors of the online portal Round Table India (‘For an Informed Ambedkar Age’), which has completed ten years of its existence this year. He is also a Director of The Shared Mirror Publishing House trust which aims to further the anti-caste discourse, through publishing poetry, fiction and non-fiction—it has published seven titles until now.
He takes an intense interest in Dalit and Bahujan literature (collectively, the literature of the lower castes), specially in Telugu. His translations of Dalit poetry have been published in literary journals; his compilation of essays on Telugu Dalit poetry shall be published soon.
