Book of the Month

Berliner Mauerkunst

This book aims to commemorate those who played a role in the Berlin Wall, who tirelessly wrote, painted, and felt their messages on the GDR's “anti-fascist protective wall,” thereby demonstrating the vulnerability of the GDR's so-called “state border with West Berlin.” It is a documentation of symbolic acts: the peaceful and humane achievements of German and international artists.

Available at our library.

"The new library with a wider variety of books and magazines offers us the opportunity to improve our German. I am also impressed by the e-library. It helps us learn German on the go and practice our listening and reading skills even when offline which makes learning even more fun!"
