Program of Care 2.0

Photo Therapy

Are you ready to utilize the power of photography to explore your emotions, connect with your inner self, and embark on a transformative journey? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Photo Therapy Workshop - a unique and enriching experience that combines the art of photography with self-expression and healing. This workshop is the last part of the 'Program of Care 2.0' workshop series, initiated by the Goethe-Institut Myanmar.

This 10-day workshop offers training in visual narrative storytelling and artistic photography techniques. Our expert trainers will provide one-on-one guidance and constructive feedback throughout the workshop. Each participant will have the opportunity to express their feelings and explore their self-identity by reflecting on photographs, pairing them with creative writing and focusing on the positive aspects of their lives.

At the end of the training period, all 16 participants became four curatorial teams, and a production grant for each group was awarded to produce their exhibition projects. Goethe-Institut Myanmar invited four art galleries, led mainly by young active gallerists and artists, to be project venue partners.
