Residency of Klaus Hartmann at Nafasi Art Space
Somewhere between Kapiri Mposhi and Dar es Salaam - The TAZARA Drawings
Last year Klaus Hartmann spent some months in Zambia and from there he came to Dar es Salaam by train. Klaus Hartmann's drawings capture a piece of time and the architectural features of different areas along the TAZARA route. They are images of places and buildings that are in a state of suspense between past and present. Often these are places that are about to disappear.

Klaus Hartmann is a German Artist from Berlin. During his residency program he will translated his travel experience with the Tanzania – Zambia Railways, TAZARA, into a collection of paintings.
