We promote cultural exchange, education and social discourse

We foster bilateral cultural exchange programs between Germany and Tanzania. We initiate film series, exhibitions, concerts, seminars and festivals, always with the goal to facilitate artistic production, reception and reflection involving actors from both countries.

International Coproduction Fund

With the ICF, we support co-productions worldwide that arise from collaborative and dialogical work processes between professional artists in the fields of music, dance, theater and performance.

Bagamoyo Film Collective (bafico)

The Bagamoyo Film Collective (BaFiCo) began as a communal film project in 2015 and evolved into a three-year exchange program for students, artists, and theater performers from and in Bagamoyo and Berlin. Throughout its existence, BaFiCo has focused on personal and cultural stories, exploring various topics in a way that can be understood by both local and international audiences, bridging the gap between local storytelling traditions and international film aesthetics.
