ASPECTS OF LUTHERISM IN TANZANIA, 1884-2017
2017 is the 500 year jubilee of the reformation process started by Martin Luther. Tanzania has the second biggest Lutheran community in the world. Therefore the exhibition will give a deep insight on how the Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in Tanzania. It examines the churches influence on restructuring the Tanzanian society from the late 19th century to now. The accompanying podium discussion will go deep on topics like Media and church or Gender Equality.
