The project organized the “EU4Culture: Stories of Cities, Diverse Voices” festival to showcase the impact of the project and bring together its participants — artists, cultural sector professionals, representatives of non-capital cities, and cultural community organizations.
The festival took place on August 30–31 in Vinnytsia, under the theme “Return and Reconnection: Artistic Communities in Small Cities During the Full-Scale War.” This theme was inspired by the current challenges faced by Ukrainian culture in small cities, including the outflow of cultural workers and the shrinking of artistic communities.
To better understand the festival's theme and feel the atmosphere, we invite you to
watch a lecture by Oksana Dovhopolova on how the cultural myth of a city is formed, using Odesa as an example. You can also take
a walk through the transformed areas of Vinnytsia, where changes are shaping the city's cultural landscape.
