For Prof. Tạ Thị Minh Tâm, International cooperation in the health sector reflects a shared responsibility. In addition to her role as Professor and Physician at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Prof. Tâm has initiated numerous clinical partnerships between Germany and Vietnam in the field of mental health care. She also founded the first specialized psychiatric and psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic for Vietnamese migrants in Berlin. This clinic not only improves access to mental health services for the Vietnamese community but also offers a safe and culturally sensitive space to express their worries and fears. In recognition of her contributions to international cooperation, she was appointed Honorary Professor at Hanoi Medical University in 2022.
