Over the past four years, the "Upscaling of Sustainable Forest Management and Certification in Viet Nam" (SFM) project has made significant progress promoting sustainable, climate-friendly forest management practices. These practices aim to advance the transition from short to long-rotation plantations while strengthening social safeguards and increasing forest certification areas and forest carbon potential.
As the project draws to a close, the workshop aims to highlight SFM’s achievements, share lessons learned, and ensure the long-term impact and upscaling of sustainable forest management.
